  I have been going to this church for almost 2 decades. Exceptional Preaching and Pastoring. Great care for children from babies to 4th grade. The youth is also in great care. SBCWR has everything for all generations...those who grew up with George Washington and those who are growing up with in the past generation.

  Five years ago I came to Second Baptist Church after an invitation to attend the baptism of a friend. I was immediately drawn to the friendly atmosphere, but most of all to the high standard of holiness and the depth of Bible teaching and preaching here. At Second God's Word is the standard and its principles are practiced and taught. There are many opportunities available for people of all ages to engage in ministry, grow in knowledge of The Word, connect with others and find a place to serve. It is a place of vibrant worship, Upward Sports and the AWANA program. You'll find a group of people who love the LORD and have a passion to worship and serve Him and our community. The folks at Second Baptist have become my extended family. Won't you consider coming and joining us as we seek to connect, grow and serve?
